PODCAST: Dr. Joe Galati Talks About Food and Diets

Food is very important to health and wellness, both if you have a liver problem, or do not. For those with liver disease, we ask that you be put on a low sodium (salt) diet, consuming less than 2000 mg per day. This is a very restricted diet, considering the highly processed foods that are available.

Over the years, I have posted numerous links to cover the following topics of nutrition and health:

Sodium restricted diets
Portion control
Daily intake of fruits
Daily intake of veggies
Dietary fiber (remember: 40 grams of fiber daily)
